The team spirit amongst the lads is the best I've seen in a long time.

Exactly what I said to my mate last night. When he glides in from the left, he reminds me a lot of Henry.

Watched it back a couple of times and the sky commentators really are dreadful.

The move by us which got Isidor in (our first corner) was absolutely fantastic. Up there with the Reading and Huddersfield goals under Mowbray. “A couple of passes and they’re in “ was the commentary.

A couple of hopeful and not very good passes by Sheffield Utd, including one where Moore literally stopped the forward momentum, was “great passing”!

Mayenda will be a beast, but I have watched the goal by Isiador numerous times, what a goal, just does that centre half, magnificent goal

They had twice as much possession as us, but just had 16 shots at goal to our 14. More importantly, we had twice as many shots on target as them (6-3) and as a result, scored twice as many goals. That's all that matters when you're trying to win a football match.

I have to say, this match was a hell of an advert for the Championship today. Big chance on Sunday to get back in to the top 2. It's important we do our bit, continue to build momentum and a winning attitude and see how many of the others crack under the pressure.

We've played all 3 of the teams above us in the table at home and only Leeds have come close to beating us. Not saying we will finish in the top 2 but we have a hell of a chance to do so. We've a number of injuries in the side as well as the youngest side in the Championship and we're still in with a shout of the automatics. Get these players back, add a couple of more experienced players to plug the gaps and who knows where we can finish

Yep. But of a panicky brain fade. Could possibly have been red carded too, if I get the laws as they are now right. Denying a clear chance while not attempting to play the ball.

Anyway, he didn't, Moore missed, we won, all good!

As I understand it, the Ref awarded a pen, which means he can't then show a red card.

Wow! What a game last night. Couldn’t go unfortunately as I’ve been on call over the New Year so had to watch from the comfort of my living room. Thought we played magnificently to a man and I’m currently nursing an injured hand! When Mayenda buries it I leapt off the sofa and punched the air but unfortunately punched the living room ceiling light as well and cut my finger in the process!!! Ouch! Was knackered getting up this morning for work as took me ages to get to sleep - the adrenaline took a while to calm down! Thought it was going to be one of those nights when they got the penalty but thankfully we showed them what we’re all about! Roll on Sunday! My son in law has got the tickets today and his dad is coming to this one as well so looking to a good day!

Very possible mate, Burnley and Sheff U not in the best form.

Win our next 2 and I reckon it will almost certainly put us in the top 2; I can't see Sheff U taking max points from their next 2.

Did anyone watch it on Sky? If so what did they say about our promotion prospects?

The stats were interesting. Hume didn't make a single tackle either, and I'm not sure that Mepham did either. It wasn't the sort of game where tackles were there to be won

yes he can. The double jeopardy rules only apply if there’s an attempt to play the ball. O’Nien really should have been sent off.
