Heard we turned down more than that in the summer, so no chance we are taking £18 million with teh way he has played plus he's signed a new contract since we turned down that bid
Be absolutely no chance of even a conversation if that's the fee. I honestly think it will be a 30m deal.
Agreed. I also think it only happens in the summer even at that price. If we do go up we might get another year out of him before he moves on.
Spoke to a Salford fan on twitter who says Matty Young is unbelievable and genuinely thinks they’ll get promoted now he’s come into the side. says he’ll be our number 1 next season. I believe it to be true personally.
I don’t think it makes financial sense or even footballing sense for us to make it permanent this January but I’d still ****ing love it if we did
I think Jobe will follow his brother and ply his trade abroad when the time comes. Given the end of this season he will have a host of clubs after him...he has been another level this term
I know I keep going on about it and keep getting pelters for it but I’m gonna repeat it. Ipswich linked with Philogene from Villa today. They went for him in the summer and nearly signed him but Villa exercised their right to buy. He’s a left winger. When he didn’t sign, they went to Clarke instead. They’re bringing in ANOTHER player where Clarke plays. He’s definitely going to be available for loan. And we’re the only place he can go. I don’t want to block Watson or Mundle progression but they’re both injured. And I’m adamant that in this RLB team with Jack Clarke, he could be the difference between automatics and not.
We are the ones with the agreed fee though. You’re right that Isidor might get his head turned, and that perhaps is the only reason we might want to make it permanent now, but his club aren’t able to accept a higher offer from elsewhere
It gets automatically activated if we get promoted and we have an option if we don't, I don't think Zenit can sell him to anyone else even if they wanted to
