Not a bad shout , Cirkin has been in poor form of late, but class at his best. so as hey are scoring a few goals of late and we need to take them as seriously as every other team in this crazy league.

Aye if Jobe can learn to dominate at set pieces it'd be a massive boost to his game and a big help to the team. He's bigger than every other player on the pitch more often than not but doesn't go for headers with much enthusiasm.

On the O9 debate I put him as our 4th choice CB when everyone is fit. Gives everything but has a habit of cracking when pushed to his limit. The wrestling, pulls are a long term problem.

Great effort last night I thought. No caveats. Worth getting cold and wet for on the way back.

Sheff Utd are a relegated team with all the financial might that comes along with it. Both teams had injuries, but they had one player in their side, Brewster, that probably cost more than our entire squad. Others too, cost a canny few bob. This is a cracking young team to watch, one that can play and adapt to games and defend like hell. A long way from being perfect as are all teams, but they will do for me. They leave nothing out there. They earn everything, and I keep reminding myself to the point of stupidity, how far we have come in since the chancers were ousted. This progress was not at all guaranteed as we know from seeing others suffer year on year of pain because of blundering, directionless owners.

Roll on Sunday. Pompey are improving, and will definitely come at us, something for us to deal with. Something we are getting better at IMO.

The thing with Luke is that when everyone is fit, all the coaches have picked him since he went into defence. He is unconventional, but obviously a player and a presence all the coaches rate and put these qualities above a few iffy moments, which to be fair he has, but seems to rise above. He's a tough character.

While it was probably idiotic, I think Moore puts that one away if he doesn’t grab his shirt. It was dropping perfectly for him.

Mepham didn’t have the shot covered at all from what I remember. Looked an easy chance.

Thanks again RTB, class as always.
Proud of the lads last night they fought for every ball and ran themselves into the ground, this is as a committed team of players we have seen in a long time and they all clearly love playing for us. 3 points on Sunday and we will be sitting pretty making us an attractive team to join this window

I thought he was absolutely tremendous last night. If he can produce a performance like that at 19 we have a real prospect on our hands. He was great early season too. Hope he stays through the middle, just moves into outstanding positions when there.

If he'd reffed our game at stoke we would have got the pen and probably won.
Some refs like the clown at stoke just convince themselves there's never a foul decision to make from a set piece into the box no matter what.
