To be fair I missed the Stoke game cos I had family over. Never bothered watching it either when I saw the result. Either way, I think we need more people who kill games off and I don’t see him being one of them.
at the same time though yes he has played games in France but would be interesting to see where he’s at come the end of the season with adequate game time her to judge him he has ability and it looks like application, he could be coached and this combined with opportunities may mean we end up with the player many thought he would have been at 18/19 I’d prefer he stayed until at least the summer, plenty deadwood to mov before him and the the league is gruelling as we’ve seen
Really puts things into perspective. That team genuinely would be competing at the top of the league imo (probably except for Abdullahi, although who knows how good he is at this stage). It's arguably stronger than the 11 we put out last night... Makes recruitment difficult because, when everyone is fit and firing, how do you keep the squad we already have all happy, let alone if we add to it??
AA is pretty bad defensively. The amount of times the last couple games our shape down the left has been pretty appalling His decision making is bad too for me The shape of the midfield against Stoke with him Aleksic and Mayenda in midfield was terrible. Worst it’s been all season and our shape has been the best thing Regis has brought to Sunlun. Especially early in the season when teams didn’t even have chances against us
Miles Leaburn is now back fit for Charlton and has been scoring recently, I wouldn't be fully convinced he is the man to displace Wilson and not necessarily a message to the likes of Leeds and Burnley but would fit snugly into our recruitment parameters. I'd love to see us go back in for Gift Orban or Alex Mendy to be honest.
I'll always like mendy me, especially if we are after an aerially strong striker with good hold up play like what's been said

You know I read through these threads and think “I am so uneducated on footballers nowadays”. 90% of the Jew being mentioned I’ve either never herd of or know little to nothing about! As long as it’s right for the club o don’t mind at all.
