Who cannot love this guy, Mr QPR and he's Irish which takes him up to an even more godly level. However!!!!
MC moved him to RB as clearly didn't fancy him as a CB as cannot carry out the ball and play through the lines. Dunny however is so so limited at RB, basically always playing as if he was part of a back 3. I cannot remember 1 occasion of him zooming past Smyth to give the oppo defence a massive decision 2 make, and ultimately the oppo can put 2 on Smyth as there is nothing to worry about. Fast forward to today, and every decent move through defence and midfield led to Smyth and Ashby causing carnage on the right wing, with both overlapping each other.
Therefore the question is what do we do with our hero? Bench him, CB or RB? Or actually just play him up front?

He was mega there last season when Cif moved him there. He was getting into crossing positions , keeping up with the wide man and getting in goal scoring positions, and scoring the odd goal. I'd question whether Cif ordered him to stay further back today, to make us more compact defensively and to try and keep their winger quieter. You can't drop him, especially with Cook and Morrison out. Whether he plays well or not, he always seems to care more than most about the result. Just for that reason alone, he'd be one of the first on my team sheet, even if everyone was fit !

I think Marti originally moved him to RB due to kakay and that American we had both being ****. He gained part cult status in that position due to his marauding runs down the flank. It led to the nickname 'Dunninihio' or whatever it was. This season, playing from RB, he's had the most touches in the oppositions box than any other QPR player. I don't mind where he plays, as long as he plays. I would actually have him as captain as he never shuts up.

I’d like to think a new contract is near the top of this January’s priorities. A good one if necessary. He’s 27 and has the sort of impressive stats richer clubs will be taking an interest in.

Very good yesterday but for me he’s our first choice RB first and foremost. More importantly perhaps it’s necessary to have a core of ‘proper blokes’ at the club. You can add all the Dembeles and Saitos you want (not you, Madsen) but you aren’t doing much in this league without players who would be willing to kick their grandmother to stop a counter attack.

I believe he’s won more headers than anyone else in the division. Seems to win the first contact very often at attacking set pieces and far more than his fair share defensively.

    Get him signed up.

His versatility is his strength, always gives his all. We need to nail him down with a new deal before offers come in. Probably the most popular player at the club...

Bench Dunne?! Not unless he needs resting, he must be the first name on the team sheet. He was rubbing his right shoulder a fair bit yesterday after being down getting treatment. I hope it wasn't the same shoulder that kept him out a few games, the only time I remember him missing games. Think that was his left shoulder?

Not his his not overlapping is an issue
(As long as Paal is doing so down the other side)
He gets into the box time and time again and I don’t know the last time he lost an even dual in the air.
