    Mayenda lad. What a performance.

Would have been a 10 if he was a bit more calm.

    Mayenda and 9.5
    Dan, immense again 8.5
    Jobe 8
    Hume 8
    Patto 8
Wilson, just seen a replay, what a goal. 8

Brilliant effort, some of the defending was a bit scary.

We have been better than them twice now. We are in this.

AA has earned the rest of the season surely? He is a bit wasteful and he sometimes seems to look like he’s running through deep mud, but he’s got something.

Great win. Thank you lads. Ha’waaaaaaay.

Isidor’s decision making for his goal shows why he’s a level above for me.

the fact he slowed down, to cause Anel to slow down, to then burst past him as soon as he did and keep the composure to finish it how he did.

compare that to Burstow and co last season.

    €4m buy option btw, nuts.

7th goal of the season too

Aouchiche is 100% worthy of at least a spot on the bench for the rest of the season. He's frustrating and does some things that leave you wondering how he's made it to this level but then the next minute you are wondering why he isn't playing at the top level. We need depth and he offers versatility and X-Factor.

Tonight was a massive win and keeps us in with a chance of top 2. Almost guaranteed.

I thought we rode our luck second half and if they equalise we are singing a different tune.

Patto brave at the end but surely he can command box better especially if 5.9 09 marking 6,4 striker.

09 penalty has been coming all year and he continues to do it second half. What way do they defend corners in training??
Personally be more content when Ballard returns, 09 hasnt the physique to play CB, No agenda just stating facts

Whats wrong with Cirkin. Does RLB not fancy him as if fit he is our best left back and is good in the air.

Dont overkill young lads in midfield. They are great talents but manage them carefully. Hopefully Browne back soon to offer someone a rest.
Rigg also will be a big plus when he returns. He offers energy going both ways and adds to the balance of the team.

Tonight Mayenda & Isidor both showed they have a lot to offer but team shape tonight wasnt great as we allowed Sheff Utd to boss the game. Remember we were the home team and should be bossing the game. Perhaps this system can work in games we dominate the ball.

AA. I think he was ok but added to our exposure at the back and perhaps is reason both Cirkin & Alese have looked average the past couple of games.

Both Mundle and Watson offer more than AA and workrate better also.

Jan transfer window. Go get quality to add to what we already have.

    The future is bright

Jeez what a result that is. Frantic game, Mayenda was absolute class. So much credit to RLB, he really knows how to handle young players. I don’t think there’s a single one of us who probably wouldn’t have dropped him out after the weekend!

Just managed to calm down....what an effort and result, pleased for Mayenda, shut one of two up on here.
To put that performance in in game 5 in 13 days against a very good team was immense. Keeps us right in the mix. Well done lads.

We could sign him for 4 and send him straight out the other door for 10.

We won’t though. He will grow with the team here I think.

Had his rough spell but of them 7 goals maybe 5 have been worldies. Lads a player.

Individual scores can be misleading if overall team performance lacks something if shape not right

Love the fact that we played a different formation and it paid dividends. It means teams won't be so sure about how to set up against us.

47 points should be enough to keep us up….

Walking to the car and heard ‘25 points clear of relegation’ I love Sunderland fans :emoticon-0102-bigsm

So ****ing drained after that game. Mayenda ran them ragged and Wilson's goal was absolutely brilliant! Whether we like it or not we're in with a shout of the top 2. With the transfer window open it's down to those behind the scenes to make a difference

By the end of February we'll have played all our closest contenders home and away. If we're still in a similar position then we have a great chance.
