Spent the day getting rid and packing up of tree, lights, decorations etc. and putting it all back away up the loft. Have just poured a nice glass of this, top tier red. The fire is on. Happy New Year.
The Italian reds are superb. Mate of mine brought a Rioja round last night, and we had it 2nd bottle, between two Italian ones. It's tasted musty by comparison, if that makes sense! Rioja I usually like too.
It's about £15 I think? Got mine via the GC turkey trot series. The more points you accumulate in best three rounds, the better the bottle you get. I was somewhere in the middle. It's a lovely drop tbf.

Working from home today. Come back to about a billion emails from a team in Spain who should have done a piece of work with a tight deadline they’ve not met because they need to know whether to use one shade of orange on a design or an incredibly similar shade of orange so they’ve been doing **** all for the best part of two weeks while waiting for an answer. Can’t be arsed.
Have to got to the office, locked out of laptop. IT can’t resolve remotely as I was never setup for the emergency VPN. so a nice trip out.
Beautiful weather today. Females have gone off somewhere on the train. The dog is walked, off to play golf with my middle un. He's bound to ask for a McD after so the good eating idea not getting off to a flying start.
Had a double chilli cheeseburger just before Xmas having not had a McDs in a while and was impressed compared to the usual disappointment when I resort to it. Think it’s new. Nuggets, Big Macs and all the stuff that used to be fun are **** now.
