Love Nunez; Great with ethic and attitude but he's not good enough imo. I would probably sell at the right price
not sure I’d be looking to sell anyone in January. Also can’t imagine anyone will be looking to leave yet - maybe Morton the exception but potential title on the cards, why disrupt anything. A couple of injuries and suddenly those players may become first teamers for a couple months.
Yeah Darwin has made 23 appearances for us this season, so very much part of our success whether people want to admit it or not. I would personally look to move him on in the summer and replace, but no way now. Jota will be out again for 6 weeks in no time
Depends on the offer and if anyone is coming the other way. He's been useful to our squad but not necessarily integral. Obviously if someone offered £20mill I'd laugh and tell them to get lost. If someone offered £60mill, I'd put them on next year's Xmas card list and drive Darwin to their door.
maybe not but when he plays, the people who might be the difference get a good rest and we know he’ll put a shift in. Unless we replace with quality, I’d be shocked if he went in January
I'd be shocked if anything happens for us by the 31st. Trent isn't going till summer (if he does go, can see him waiting till the back end of the season to make a decision based on if we win anything) and the squad is going great guns atm to risk changing that with in and outs.
Usually, when we're doing this well and the January window occurs FSG will say they don't want to buy now and risk unsettling things. Only if we're struggling will John Henry and friends consider buying in January, and then they'll say that as we're underperforming our revenue is down, so we can't afford to buy until the Summer. But oh boy, do we have a thumping war chest ready to use in the Summer. Yes, we do, you know. Paul Joyce says so.
Not sure it’s FSG that decide who is and isn’t needed. They normally leave all those decisions to the manager to say if they need reinforcements or not
