Agreed, he has his limitations but at least he gives vibes that he wants to drive forward and score.
Salary v usefulness, Anthony Pulis was a more effective midfielder than many in the current squad.
Adam Armstrong should be the first name on the teamsheet every game. His commitment can't be faulted, and he's far more likely to get an actual goal than anyone else bar Dibling (who needs time to develop, without the burden of unrealistic expectations).
The contract extensions /activations for Armstrong & Stephens in the summer were sensible; particularly in the event we get relegated and don't have to worry about them leaving for a free knowing they can do a job in the championship...
