Its the premier league players with not much game time we should be looking at next month. The summer is dependent on which league we are in. I'll get slagged off for this but I'd happily take Milner as a player coach regardless next season. He is the ultimate professional, gets the club and wants a step in to coaching. You can never have enough good professionals around the place. Look at the impact Guilavogui has had, everyone loves him.
still hearing alot about us still chasing Buendia on loan from Villa but also hearing Villa want full wages paid which is mega bucks so would prob stop all championship clubs taking any punt.
Odin Bailey or Odin Thiago Holm (Sorry Siddas, the eye reference made me think Norse mythology ) Of the names I recognise in that list who are struggling for game time, Kieran Tierney is the only one that could both be realistic and tempting. However no idea on his current fitness so probably a non starter
How does Milner get the club. Twenty years since he pulled on a jersey for us. Just cos he drinks his tea from a Leeds mug and most of us do that
Leeds fan as a boy (still is). 8 years on the books. That helps but I'm more interested in the way he conducts himself. Every club he has been at it has been said that he is the ultimate professional. He is interested in coaching so in my mind he would be perfect to bring in as a Leeds lad who has played and won trophies at the very top. Stick him in a coaching role with the youngsters and keep him as an emergency player in case of injuries. A bit of a Strachan if you like. Guilavogui is currently playing a very similar role and has proven very popular with players, fans and the staff. He also does alot of community stuff and gets others involved. Milner would be a good choice to fulfill a similar role. You can't have enough good people on the books. It creates the culture through the club. Look at scum....it's rotten to the core. We have lots of young impressionable players.
