I don't want SR to go because they guarantee our financial stability as things stand.

But ****ing hell if their football operations aren't utterly shambolic, one of the worst ever seen in the English top flight.

This is the long and short of it. I'll add though, that I still feel SR will get it right at some point. It's frustrating because it feels like we are being treated like an experiment (we're probably not the only fan base who feel this way about their owners). But they certainly seem to have enthusiasm, commitment, and most importantly, money. Gao had none of these.

    An analogy;

Having SR in control is like having an overly eager girlfriend who promises to spend 500 quid on new clothes for your birthday, and while she's true to her word, she goes and buys all those clothes from Primark and TK Maxx. You can't fault her intentions, but it's clear she's going to need a bit of guidance, and you a lot of patience, when it comes to future birthdays.

Gao is like the ex-girlfriend who showed little interest in you, never bought you anything, and in the end dumped you because it wasn't working out.

You were dumped, so it's not like you even have a choice of who to be with, but even if you did have a choice, you'd be mad to want Gao back.

Pretty much where I’m at with it all too; for me, I’d love to see a huge double page spread in something like the Telegraph about who he is, why he is, but the underlying theme would have to be a) I take total responsibility as the owner and b) I am not walking away as I have the finances to compete and will rectify the mistakes by employing the right people.

Although I know there’s conspiracy theorists out there, with a second relegation on the cards, I shudder to think about the amount of upheaval that causes across the club infrastructure but I think we all know that Dragan will have lost money, and a fair amount at that.

Im always fascinated by the people who own clubs and their motivation so would love to hear his honesty about the last three years-it’s been pretty stressful for us as fans, so would love to hear his take on things-but I suspect that even if he ever wanted to be that honest, it would one be triggered when we beat the Derby record and he can be honest and open.

Worse than that is the quote about not using the league table to assess performance.

The exact quote was "Your league position is not the best metric to evaluate success.”

I’m sure he is overjoyed that one of his clubs is doing well, shame that the other two are both sinking like a stone, but failure is success or some other TED talk bullshit.

Valenciennes have it even worse than we do too.

You can get some good bargains in TK Maxx, I often shop there. Unfortunately our recruitment policy isn't aimed at shopping anywhere else apart from rustling around bargain basement stores and the odd charity shop in the vain hope of finding the next best thing discarded at the very bottom of the £1 sale box.
The analogy of 500 quid? More like a Fifty quid max and that's got to cover a Jumper, a new shirt and a pair of trousers that hasn't got the arse ripped out of them.
I admire your optimism "they certainly seem to have enthusiasm, commitment, and most importantly money" but have you been at the Christmas Sherry again?

Come on, only two relegations in 3 seasons, they still have more records to break yet!

Our match going fans are too accepting of mediocrity. Too soft. Too placid.

These clowns need pressure applied to them; think the days of RL and all the protests there against his leadership.

They're getting away with ruining our great club.

When we're solidly 12th all of next season, the real SR fun and games will begin. This is how our club is under those ****ing chancers when we've been lucky. Imagine how it's going to look in 18 months time :emoticon-0106-cryin
