The fact they thought that was a gamble worth taking was idiotic. If we'd made the play off's and not gone up would Rosenior still have gone?
It makes you wonder what kind of wages Delap etc were on? He's clearly threw all his eggs in one basket in a failed attempt at reaching the play-offs last season, sacked Rosenior in a fit of rage and brought in a German doughnut who's put us where we are...I can't see him bringing in Premier League loanees in January, not if the wages risk going overboard again.
I agree, but perhaps that's a learning curve for Acun....would he have gone if we'd have lost in the playoffs is a great question.....i think he would
I'd imagine it was a carefully considered decision formed over many weeks, even months, not done in some "fit of rage". Do you really believe it was done in some fit of rage?
I dont think it was done in a fit of rage We can say it was the wrong or right decision But he obviously felt he failed to deliver
It wasn’t a fit of rage, but there had to be a scapegoat for the failure and Rosenior was it. Tan didn’t agree with the decision.
Ok. Your opinion. I think you are very wrong on this. I question you saying it as I think you are being incredibly unfair on our owner. As Brady says, whether we think it was a good decision or not is a totally different matter.
Here's another thing you think I might be wrong on as well... Prior to the Sheff Weds game 'our owner' stood firmly behind Tim Walter and said(in an interview before the game)if we lost that night The German would still be in charge?Am I being unfair here? If not for a HUGE dressing room bust up at Half-Time,(that's not fiction either,it's fact) he'd still be running the show...
Tim Walter rounded on Slater at half-time for the shot that he hit against their keeper, threw some belittling abuse at Slater it all kicked off and other players backed Slater. Needless to say,Slater never appeared after half-time.
