If we beat Blackburn we’ll have taken all 12 points over Xmas new year. I cannot remember Leeds ever doing that before. In fact the Xmas break was often unkind to us

it felt like it was missing something, but two sisters from the Swedish nymphomaniac society have just knocked on my door. Apparently their modelling gig has been cancelled and they need someone to help them drink all the spare beer, in exchange for a room for the night.

Aaronson has scored more goals this season than Georginio did in the whole of last season.

I know Joseph gets some stick but keep an eye on him through these highlights. He is involved in everything whilst he is on the pitch. Even clearing the ball at the edge of his own 6 yard box.

Apparently he made a total of 8 passes and touched the ball 24 times, losing possession 6 times and won 1 of his 9 duels (however that is measured I have no idea)

I didn't think he played too bad, I only got these stats when reading why he was scored 5/10 by one journalist

He's learning his trade....but his main part of that is to put it in the onion bag and that part is still vacant, he can't complain about getting his chance that's for sure! ...piroe for some reason gets stick from plenty as well doesn't he:emoticon-0114-dull: but by and large he'll stick it in given the chance and he has a nice touch as demonstrated by the lay off for the goal... hopefully Matteo will come good in the onion bag section of his trade :emoticon-0148-yes:

We did what was needed. Got the result and played some decent football. What’s not to like.

Yeah we should have scored more, and I wouldn’t have been this relaxed about that, had we not won the game.

Blackburn will be a bigger test (even at home). I rate Eustace, at this level. Pretty sure he turned us over last season home(Blackburn) and away(Brum). This next game ain’t gonna be straightforward. MOT

Appreciate he got 2 at stoke but generally I think if you’re going to give 1 striker a start and bring 1 on for 20 minutes. IF. It works better this way. Joseph presses and works the defence more than piroe. Piroe looks better coming in fresh when the game has slowed down and has a bit more time. His touch and control, not just in the goal build up, but overall was great when he came on yesterday. Often he gets hustled off the ball when starting.

The Piroe Joseph debate is largely irrelevant to me, he’s going to play both. The question (and I appreciate this is not what people want to hear), is why he isn’t trying bamford ahead of Joseph - if Joseph isn’t delivering.

I respect Farke for sticking with Joseph and giving him a go. Bamford has actually looked quite sharp in his few cameos. Yes I know he’s missed sitters he always has and always will, but his movement has caused problems.

Don’t understand the Joseph thing at all. Does it make a difference if he never scores. I know a striker who plays three hours per season, never score and earns more in a week than I do in a year and he’s still hero worshipped by large sections of the fans of the club he plays with

It does seem to be working that way, which I find a little odd because Piroe was a starter for Swansea and was their leading goalscorer. I was also surprised Farke left him out as most forwards will tell you goals brings confidence so you would have thought that be brought into this game rather than break his momentum but I guess it’s good that he’s rotating the team to keep them fresh for the run in.

I agree. Let Bamford go out. Let Gelhardt go out.

Who would you bring in though?

Does any of us seriously believe any club would touch Bamford. He’s League one standard now at best and no one at that level will be able to afford him. No point in selling or loaning if we’re still stuck with his wages

Which is why we will not bring a striker or decent goalie in.

I think the Hollywood guys from Wrexham have solid interest in him on loan. It's good for the tv series (ex England international) and would help them get out of league 1.

This won't be popular but I'd say the majority of Championship clubs would take Bamford in a heartbeat but for his wages. Not many teams play like us and I think Paddy would work better in other systems.
He's still better than L1 level. The way we play doesn't suit some players. A good example is Jaidon Anthony, he's a regular for Burnley.
    Just my opinion
