1. Jones - led the team well , was solid and strong. He kept us in the game with some excellent blocks and then made sure of the clean sheet . 2. Puerta - should have made the end easier when he should have scored when hitting the post . However , another workhorse performance. 3. Mcloughlin - assisted Alfie well in keeping them out . Well done also to Pedro who worked hard up front with some mature play late on that gained free kicks and to Longman who scored and should have had another . Well done boys Come on City

Jones Macca Puerta Whilst both Jones and Macca were immense at the back with numerous blocks and headed clearances we are still giving teams too many opportunities to score - that said, great result and well played by the whole team - on today's performance the whole team looked up for the fight which bodes well
I know it would have been impossible but I'd have loved a Pedro type 3/4 years younger. Quality player.
