How right you are and that some thought him a crackpot conspiraloon is just as absurd as the charges against Trump and Spaffer.

On the Saints Stuff thread, I posted the podcast he just did with Simon Jordan. The last part of which talks a bit about his COVID/BLM/Ukraine views and Simon is mostly in agreement. To still hear people on Twitter and here bad mouthing him is ridiculous, I guess some people believe the sensationalist headlines and do not bother to here exactly what he says about things. Man's a legend and always will be!

What exactly has he done or said off the pitch that warrants this comment. The only ex Saint I can think of who is truly a legend off the pitch is Franny. The rest are not legends off the pitch, just normal blokes who do other stuff or disappear into obscurity, Le Tissier is this really, certainly not worthy of that comment in my opinion.

Yeah, he's actually quite funny when he sticks to football stories and I don't agree with his conspiracy theories but that doesn't make him a bad person, he's not a boozer, junkie or an abuser of any kind as far as I know.

Tall Paul is nowhere near as good as some people think he is.

We're not a plucky little club who should be grateful to exist. We (were) an established PL club for most of the PL since it's inception.

    Our fans aren't too fickle

Ivan Jurić won't be our last manager this season

    (is that controversial?)

I'm not expecting him here next season but not sure we'll sack him before the end of this one.

Is he going to put the nut on Ankersen, and be forced to resign?

That would make this dreadful season a lot more bearable.

    Fair point!

Proper banter FC if he was to walk away a month or two into the job. Though he'd arguably be a bit daft to do so as I imagine this is his second biggest contract ever.

Quite a lot of people seem to think he's brilliant and is going to save our season bizarrely.

Really he's a bit **** like most of our squad.

I think people like him because he’s entertaining rather than good tbf. And we’re starved of FUN.
