Leeds and Sheffield generally edge the tight games where we tend to draw or lose that's the difference imo
I was kinda expecting us to drop away from the top 2/3 so I’m perhaps more “relaxed” about this. I’d like us to start putting some better performances together like the start of the season. I feel like our ability to draw games we used to have lost is good but has also papered over some cracks. We are on track for playoffs and hopefully can pick up some form to solidify it. Will have been a great season.
Were we ever really automatic contenders? I was never fooled by our lofty league position. 4th is where I believe we will finish
I started the season genuinely worried for relegation. I keep reminding myself this. and we ALL should remember how we felt in February - May under Dodds before we moan too much about our current form.
I understand feeling like that after last season, we have some quality players and it was just about getting the right manager in
Agreed. I was never worried about relegation last season. I haven't been worried about relegation since Chris Coleman was our manager.
absolutely but I thought we had the wrong manager!! Was pleased to be wrong. nobody could have predicted we’d do so well having not replaced Clarke and having Jobe and Rigg as our midfield two.
This game is just lacking abit of quality in the final third. Burnley look so good defensively though, their shape, distances and press are excellent.
Not a great game but so impressed by Burnley out of possession. Won't lose many games if they continue to play like that
We aren’t in the top 2 race anyway don’t have the depth to compete with those sides, focussing on the gap between us and 7th
I’ve thought that all along but there’s plenty on here who believe we can go up automatically Some posters genuinely believe we should be top of the league…
I absolutely got carried away with it at the start but play offs is our fight for me, too light in certain areas and too wasteful currently to match the likes of Leeds and Burnley consistently, no shame in that either mind given the money in the squads, fancy us to stay in the play offs then it’s a lottery
