The reasons. 1. Matt Mills will keep making stupid tackles and getting sent off leaving them with St Ledger playing centre back. 2. Their defence cannot handle pace/skill, Cam and Rosi tore them a new one yesterday. 3. Lack of passion in midfield. The likes of Danns clearly dont fancy a fight. 4. Pearson has no plan b, he was found out yesterday by someone who knows his tactics, once other clubs figure it out they will struggle. 5. We have an honest hard working bunch and an honest manager with the best interests at the club at heart (i.e not a money grabber). 6. We have pace and strength. 7. We don't have Mills or St Ledger. 8. Fryatt is about a million times better than any strikers leicester ****ty have.
We have a better team than them so should finish above them, I have nothing against them personally and hope they do OK so long as they are behind us and Pearson gets the sack!
I think Lesta have at the moment more depth of squad, but the first eleven at the moment, I would say we are better. It will depend on injuries, if we can strengthen in January 2 or 3 players, then I think we can finish above them.
I think we are capable of finishing above them, however I wouldn't be shouting this from the roof tops to save any egg on my face at the end of the season! I think West Ham and Southampton will be difficult to shift from those top two spots, so it could well be the lottery of the play offs for everyone else.
I might see if I can stick £20 on the play off final being HULL CITY v Leicester City if I can get a price at corals on Monday .
dream on a very late winner against 10 men doesnt make you brilliant lucky win due to a crap ref====will you get this every game? oh and btw ssl is a current international player who would breeze into your team.
are you sure about that?????? McShane and Kilbane are current international players and can't get in our team.
I predict that Leicester will finish 5th and we will finish 8th. They'll lose in the play-offs to Cardiff (again) and we'll both end up back in the Championship for next season but with the Mighty Tigers having saved at least £15m on them in achieving that.
Criticising a win? Hull City did their job, we got 3 points, Leicester got 0. No less was expected and no less was done - I don't mind this for the rest of the season. Sit.
We we're rubbish, our support was rubbish, the ref was bent, we're a small club who'll finish mid table. For 15 pages of completely biased pissy-pant nonsense, check this out... http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=78296&st=0
I'd like to know what the ref did to make him crap, and how whatever he did wrong affected the game. Sign of a poor team when you have to blame the ref. The truth is we had most of the ball in your half, you couldn't keep it, we kept knocking all game and Schmiecal nearly kept you in it, but he wasn't good enough to keep everything out your defence leaked through. As for SSL that's a testament to how weak your first team really is! Big transfer fees and high wages don't make them good players, probably the opposite as you're finding out, your big money signings have been, well, woeful. Best of luck with the finances
brilliant the way the reason it wasnt a penalty kept changing, he never touched him, then he got the ball, then he didnt touch him enough for it to be a penalty, then it was a penalty but not a red card..
According to the BBC Report of the game - I quote - 'Mclean broke through on goal only for Mills to make a superb block and as Mclean got up for a second attempt, he appeared to slip over with Mills nowhere near' Having shown extended highlights of the game on the Football League show last night they were at pains to highlight the fact that Mills had a second bite of Mclean and this was picked up by the Asst Ref. The BBC haven't chosen to edit the report since though.
Leicester fans remind me of the Wolves lot a coupe of seasons ago Overly biased, patronising and stubborn. I genuinely prefer Leeds fans, or any northern set of fans for that matter. Despite the rivalry you can share a laugh with even the most staunch of them at times. There are a few decent ones knocking about though, don't get me wrong. Just seems the majority with internet access are toolboxes. The "bigger club" thing is ridiculous as well, such a qualitative area is a really flawed way of making an argument... but they seem to ignore that. Just because the fans act like Arsenal fans it doesn't mean they actually follow a bigger club.
If that makes them feel better about their over paid under performing waste of money squad of players then let them have it. Anyone who was at the game and has at least a basic understanding of football knows that while it was pretty even for 30 minutes we were edging it, after they equalised they parked the bus and we displayed a great deal of patience probing them left, right and down the middle, they held their shape well and made it difficult for us but we got the result our football deserved, even the commentator on the FLS praised our approach to breaking them down, it would have been easy to throw Adebola on and start lumping the ball forward but we didn't, Barmby stuck to his approach and the team showed great maturity. If I were to be critical the only issue I had 2nd half was occasionally over passed. We are clearly a good side at this level and will continue to develop, who really cares what they think, infact reading that lot i'm not sure any of them are capable of thought.
The McLean trip was a definite foul the ref got it spot on. Fryatt was also fouled in the area later , a similar sort of thing where the defenders foot caught Mattys. Had the challenge been outside the pen , the ref would have given it . As for the Leicester squad , i think its very strong , especially the midfield and strikers . NP knows his defenders , so they have got a good chance of creating a great squad in JAN -
