So why have Arsenal had an easy turnaround over Christmas? they played 21st v Crystal Palace we played 22nd v Tottenham We played 26th v Leicester they played Ipswich 27th we play West Ham 29th they play Brentford 1st Jan.
Yeah I’ve no idea why everyone plays Sunday and Monday and arsenal & Brentford for whatever reason play Wednesday? Brighton Ipswich Arsenal Brentford all played yesterday. Brighton Ipswich both play monday brebtford Arsenal Wednesday.
Presumably they think they'll get better viewing fixtures on a bank holiday rather than a night game on NYE. Which is why I assume we had to kick off at 7pm on a Sunday recently rather than lunchtime.
how should i know edit - what Libby said - basically i assumed it was due to the broadcasters preference within the terms of their contract
Makes sense. I guess will be huge police presence in London because of NYE as well Although why they couldn’t have played Monday with everyone else is a mystery though
Call me old fashioned but imo every club should have played on both boxing day and NYD with a round of fixtures today/tomorrow too.
if you're going to be old fashioned they should have played Christmas day and Boxing day against other clubs in the localised area
If you want to be old fashioned we should have played in no man’s land on Christmas Day against Bayern Munich.
I watch Goldbridge on YouTube and reckon he's a decent football vlogger. He deffo gives credit where credit's due including us.
It’s funny how Jim has come in and made himself look an absolute **** while the club performs even worse. Wondef how long before Nev starts blaming him like he blames the glaziers for everything else.
Tbf they are changing the ethos of the club right there Tbf to United they were always really good to their ex players as a general rule Personally I think this is a disgrace but they won’t be the last club to do it
