Hopefully so riled up they make stupid mistakes and we can put it to bed early, play anything like the second half Boxing Day and we should have a good afternoon, excited to hopefully see Adil from the start he’s looked bang up for it of late
Another great thread RTB you put some graft in during the festive season many thanks Like a lot of posters I would love to beat this lot handsomely so fingers crossed your team looks good to me, just hoping for a better start and an early goal I’ll go 3-0 to the lads but hopefully we get more safe travels to all heading down enjoy COME ON
Not sure I should admit this or not . I dont mind Stoke. Did some coaching with some of their academy players at one time. Going back a few years mind, it was during Mark Hughes time. Their training ground complex, at the time, was up there with the very best. I used to love visiting. As for their current setup it doesnt look great at all. They are a club who seem to have suffered from poor spending strategies. Their next manager will have a tough tough job. I suggest they need some real experience in there. Mowbray may well be a good fit. Hopefully we are ready for what I think will be a 100 mile an hour start from them. I dont expect it to last though, and we should be able to get control of the game. Have to fancy us in this one to gain a comfy win. Jobe to bag a couple if he keeps making those runs late.
Early start for this one. Aiming to be in Wetherspoons Hanley for 10am for a bit of breakfast and a few liveners. Stoke is a dead town so not sure where to drink after that. Think this will be close - 1:0 to the lads.
not being funny but if that’s true it’s absolutely brilliant. Gives him an enforced rest whilst also allowing us to give another player a chance to prove to RLB he can be trusted to increase our sub options.
Nope This is the most we are going to get Team News Chris Rigg has been ruled out of the trip to Staffordshire. The midfielder was forced off in the second half at Ewood Park on Boxing Day after scoring in the 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers. Dan Ballard has been ruled out of the festive run of games after suffering injury in the later stages of the victory over Norwich City. Ahmed Abdullahi is due to begin non-contact training whilst Jenson Seelt is stepping up to contact training with the Under-21s in the near future. Romaine Mundle, Alan Browne, Tommy Watson and Niall Huggins all continue their respective rehabilitation programmes.
That would be absolutely unbelievable given the level of swell on the ankle. Surprised they have been able to scan so quickly.
Would make sense if the scan hasn't shown anything major. Be a minor strain of ankle ligaments. Grade 1-2. Unbelievable outcome given how it looked.
