Phillips is a natural fit in place of Morsy. That’s clear enough. I hope we go for three centre backs and not O’Shea at full back. That formation would really suit us with covering our attacking full backs and allowing Szmodics and Hutchinson a bit more freedom. Chappers is unlucky to be dropped. One of our stronger performers in recent weeks.

Well, it was coming 1-0 Arsenal. We can't keep possession, it's just clearing the lines, backs to the wall stuff.
We’ve cut out the passing around from the back stuff, which means we’ve been more solid and not made any notable gaffes. The downside is we keep lumping the ball up and giving it back to them. We’ve been absolutely dominated possession and passing stats wise. Look like a plucky lower league side trying to play for a cup replay. Too predictable to play against at the moment.

To be fair, we have just been ball watching all game. Phillips etc should not be intimated by this lot. 1 nil down at at half time. This time last year it was a nil nil v QPR.
