His shot stopping has always been good. His command of the box has improved, but his kicking is getting worse and he’s costing us with his hesitancy in coming off his line. I can see RLB wanting to replace him with a keeper who is better with his feet
My worries with Patterson is the commanding of his box. His kicking is no where near as bad as people make out, it’s actually one of the better ones in the division, and shot stopping wise he’s good but he’s glued to his line and never looks confident leaving it to claim a ball the worry is that not only has it not improved I feel it’s gone back over because I thought in league one when he broke through he was getting better at it and now it’s none existent

I do think the criticism of Mayenda is over the top personally. Absolutely should have won us the game but then so should Rigg missing a header, Isidor missing a chance, Roberts not attacking the back post properly. He’s young and will learn. Should not be crucified for it.
Loved the Isidor goal. Loved Riggs goal. Love the fight we have in our young team. Love the connection between the fans and the players. Love the huge following we had. I guess I am in love and just a hopeless old romantic
Seems mental to me that he’s in a matchday squad. Clearly not getting used. We’re doing well but there’s plenty of questions over RLB and his lack of changes/squad selections. Baffled at times
When Isidor carried it from own half and scored folk were raving about it is a brilliant solo goal, hard due to the ground covered etc etc. Now Mayenda doesnt take a similar chance and it is a sitter. Either they are hard chances or easy, not both. For me they are hard chances. Bellinghams from Isidors pull back was easier imo. He had a 3rd of the goal to pass it into but ballooned it. I bet he is gutted about that.
