I'd want trent a touch wider and a touch closer to salah and just let salah draw the 3 men desperate to close him down then lay it back and deliver. Get in on the end of those balls then Trent is too narrow most of the time and he's never chipping one over the top against this lot. Jones is just wandering about to no effect. It’s in to rule out/overturn howlers, not to check if a pass 30 seconds before a goal had someone’s shorts an inch offside before the ball goes back out and recycle and then after another 15 passes someone puts it in the back of the net
I don’t get this corner routine. Surely they should all rush to the front post as the cross comes in but we just seem to jog to the front post then wait for the cross come in a few seconds later. Timing seems miles off.
