Maybe if we were bringing in a manager with a big reputation, that had done things in football then you might have to include a clause like that to help persuade them to join. I see no reason we had to do that for RM though. We were a big step up for him. Pay rise triggered on promotion sure, if it doesn’t mess with the finances. An automatic extension though is just short sighted…and so, although we’ll never know, I bet it was our genius owners idea to put it in there rather than RM and his agents demands. Just got to hope they are slowly learning from all their many many many mistakes. Though I wont hold my breath on that one.
Anyone else feel more peed off with this result than any Russ-ball games? I just assumed we'd lose every game with him at the helm and his disaster ball tactics but after the Fulham game my hopes were up a little bit. But when it went 1-0 on the telly I felt really down. Then Wolves beat ManUre to really rub it in. We are doomed.
Just got back. Can’t work it out! Best we’ve played by a ****ing mile (I hate you RM) but I’m more pissed off today than the previous ****e, even Spuds. No question Spam should have gone 1-0 up but thereafter we had 5 …. 6 golden chances to score. OMFG! Could rant here forever with those misses but overall brilliant change from that RM dross … enough to make me properly passionate. Still, definitely a lot to work with but definitely something & I look forward to the forthcoming competitive games (thank ****). Footnote: How can big Les go from (imo) a total donkey & becoming a real asset in 2 games! YOU’RE A KNOB RM. Edit: Sulamana transgressed all of that; crap with RM & looked liked he couldn’t be arsed from the minute he came on, I actually felt sorry he didn’t have pockets,

Not surprising after how he’s been treated. Honestly I’m super positive after today. We are actually in the game and competing. It’s enjoyable to watch. We all know Jurić has the impossible job
Here's some music to our ears from Juric on TP - "In other games, maybe it's better to play with Archer or with another one (upfront)."
I wish we had made the managerial change 10 games earlier. I'd forgotten what a proper saints team looks like but that was much better. Great in the first half. A silly miss placed back pass that lead to them getting a corner and a goal but we should have won that game no doubt.
Was trying to think when the last time we had a new manager bounce in terms of results was, like Wolves are having, or even Leicester experienced briefly? Must have been at least 4-5 managers ago.
Don’t know our new manager record for all leagues. RM won his first in the championship (don’t know if it counts as a ‘bounce’ when it’s not a mid season change though).
I don't think teams will be able to rest players against us like they have been doing, or they will get punished. The fact that was the standard under RM speaks volumes. Wonder if Juric will get the glowing praise from other managers that RM did.....
It shows how **** we were under Martin when everyone is happy that we had some good chances in the first half whilst losing at home to a struggling side. Everyone also saying how good Onuachu was despite the fact he is missed chance after chance and any half decent striker would have had us 2 up at half time. I'm not saying it isn't an improvement, but I think that is more to do with Martin setting an extremely low bar rather than Juric doing anything of note. We still lost due to a mistake at the back. If Juric is going to improve us at all it will likely take a while, unfortunately I think we are already out of time.
He should have scored at least one of those headers, the jury is still out for me. I’d like to see him get a decent chance, ideally alongside archer. Even if it’s too late, it’s nice to see us draw and only lose by one goal. We won’t break derbys record with Juric in charge. Our battle could be not finishing bottom?
If you're looking for improvement, in the first half we attempted 11 shots, which is more than the entirety of the previous 9 games. That's mad.
I've never done one before, but I can try and give it a go? It'll likely be when our unbeaten run begins and I'll get sick of it after week 2!
