It's disgraceful that our elected council can not get the name of our City correct it always narks me when I enter the City of "Kingston upon Hull" and see hull, criminal. Rant over, up the Tigers
No he's just not shown enough to start. It's OK being a nice tidy player but pointless if you do nothing with it
Hughes is a huge miss. As a ball-playing defender, he’s the best we have by far. Comfortable on the ball but his passing ability is better than most of our midfielders. That Slater miss against Swansea came from a good Giles cross but the line-breaking pass by Hughes to Giles made it possible.
I was at uni not far from Kingston on Thames and happened to end up talking to the Quarterback of their local American Football team. When I mentioned where I was from he got genuinely quite angry with me because our local club had used ‘Kingston’ in its name, forcing them to subsequently name themselves the Thames Valley Raiders (iirc) when ‘everyone’ knew that Kingston was theirs and not some northern ****hole. I can’t claim to have then bested him in a scrap as, somewhat unsurprisingly given who he was, he was built like a brick ****house and secondly I think most people down there would have agreed with him. So I think we need to make more of it too.
