... not the best day out to be honest but a really good chance of three points. The stadium is terrible and badly placed but, to be fair, the only decent place to build it would've been anywhere but Stoke. It's just grim and there doesn't seem to be a town centre or anywhere pleasant. The old ground was worse though, the only pub always hosted a mass punch up with police dogs brought in to dodge flying glasses and bite anyone they could. The new ground seems to have been built by a committee, on a bit of land leftover from building the retail park, and already looks ancient. The locals are always edgy and you have to keep your wits about you if you're drinking in town. The nearest pub is a Harvester that, to be fair, has more atmosphere than the ground. Apparently the Stoke fans were singing 'Sacked in the morning' to their own manager, while losing against 10 man Sheff Wed on Saturday. We keep saying someone is going to take a battering from Sunderland ... ... I'd really like it to be Stoke, one of the most pointless clubs in the country.
For some daft reason, I always enjoy Stoke No decision on the driver yet but with me doing Blackburn, I think I’ve earned a passenger seat
I'm driving for this one. Stupidly I've bought a van with 6 seats so I'm designated driver for today and Stoke. Parking looks a bit **** for stoke, so any advise is more than welcome. We'll have 2 teenage girls with us so I wouldn't expect a lot of chew for us.
Absolute dump Stoke. Majority of their fanbase are absolute whoppers as well. Agree with Smug on the type of crowds in and around the home ground, always looking for chew on. Probably trying to make up for their hole of a city and **** football team.
