Today I was stood in a queue, in front was two women talking about Christmas. One said to the other “ well that’s me done with work for a fortnight, I’m gonna go home, leave my shoes at the front door, put on my slippers, lay on the couch, not ****ing move, eat **** and watch **** until I go back to work “ everyone for about a 100 feet could hear her, I had to bite my lip to stop me falling about the place laughing. Mrs Red said don’t you dare say anything lol…. I just love the ladies in bransholme cener…..

Laid in bed waiting for the kids to be up and about with something like the same enthusiasm they had when they were actual kids, rather than adults who I was at the pub with all evening and who will therefore likely still be asleep until I blast out the Christmas music a bit later. Why are refuse collectors driving around at 5-30 collecting excess or waste bins just now ? Triple time plus days in lieu maybe ?
