Martinless syndrome. It’s a brain thing which fails to respond to confusisis, brought about by false teachers of those profess to know Confucious’ writings etc!! Known to affect those likely to wear red and white striped shirts.

Must have hit double figures for the times he kicked it out of play trying to hit Aribo on the touchline

Was a dire game but we ground out a draw. Something to build on for West Ham. Blinding save by Ramsdale in the second half.

If Lesley can keep playing like that we should keep him. Our best player today. Big if though.

And despite all the long kicking we didn’t concede a single goal. How odd.

I thought our press, overall, improved in the second half. We got closer to the defender on the ball and also got closer to the players waiting to receive the pass and put them under a little pressure.
Still much to do if Jurić is to turn them into a pressing side, but I don’t think he will have been impressed with the first half pressing. Wouldn’t be surprised if he benches Dibling on Boxing Day because he looked so lethargic today and doesn’t press with any urgency.
Lesley looked like a really competent midfield player with good off the ball movement, good at shielding the ball and not afraid to drive forward with it.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he started next Thursday.

Just for the record, Lesley looked good in his last appearance for us too when he came on vs Liverpool in the league game. But randomly completely dropped after that by Martin.

The press was better when Archer came on, Dibling looked lost playing as a striker (better as a wide midfielder). Pretty dreadful watch especially Rambo hoofing it towards Aribo who won very few even when they didn’t go straight out
Good point but hate the style

Putting two and two together, and with Lesley liking all the new manager posts, I get the feeling he thought Russ was a fraud. So he’s bright as well as talented.

Apparently the new boss was shouting loud encouragement from the home end (stands). I like him already

Right. On tube on the way home. Not going to complain about a point against a Fulham side who have been more than decent this season.

Negatives- still looked pretty toothless up top. Armstrong was so invisible I didn't realise he was even on. Dibling looked like he was trying to do too much today, needed to release passes a bit earlier.

Positives- defended really well. Rambo was great in goal and pretty much all the defence put in a shift. Was also nice to meet @tomw24

Onwards and ****ing upwards. Ivan Juric's red and white army <applause>

It was clear very early on that he had something about him. He might be like a Shea Charles who seems to be thriving playing a more traditional Box to Box type role than the passing type. Obviously that doesn’t suit the way Martin wants his CM to play, but absolutely has a role under different set ups.

He cost Chelsea £25m or something at 18 years old didn’t he, clearly is talented. I’d still be looking to terminate the loan as I don’t see the point in giving him game time when we have nothing to play for, play our own players or recall Charles to play that role if we want someone like that

We wouldn't of had Juric if we had (admittedly he hasn't had a game yet but probably had an input).
