Boxing Day bonanzapublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 15:57 GMT #bbcefl You'll probably need some football by Boxing Day so how nice of the EFL to give us some real Championship crackers at both ends of the table. Championship Blackburn Rovers v Sunderland Bristol City v Luton Town Coventry City v Plymouth Argyle Derby County v West Bromwich Albion (17:30 GMT) Middlesbrough v Sheffield Wednesday Norwich City v Millwall Oxford United v Cardiff City Preston North End v Hull City Sheffield United v Burnley Stoke City v Leeds United (20:00 GMT) Swansea City v QPR Watford v Portsmouth You'll be able to follow all the action here on the BBC Sport website.
We looked fairly good until their first goal and then we fell apart at the seams. I didn't hear the name Fayulu mentioned during the thirty minutes I was able to watch and several others are just wasting passes and making poor decisions. The 2 goals for West Brom were virtually identical and so nobody learnt from the first mistake and generously gave them another of the same. Too many players are off the pace and when you combine that with our total lack of fire power in front of goal you can see why we tend to shoot ourselves in the foot in most outings. I hate to see it again but I saw the same troubles and mistake each season since time began and I have given up on us ever achieving anything this season, or in the future for that matter.
At 2-0 it’s already game over I’m afraid Just a question of how many we lose by now Another Blackburn, Derby, Portsmouth?
I am hoping Cornick will exit in January hopefully with a couple more off on loan elsewhere. We always end up with too many under-achievers on our books and then sell the best ones and as long as we wander down the same road to nowhere that is exactly where we will land again.
Sorry people just got the score and surprise surprise not good. Manning and junior need to go before we move forward. This is not a good record so far this season.
You do change your mind from result to result, we’d have about 10 managers a season if you were our Chairman
Another shocker and I can see us getting a whole lot worse unless someone can pick up the pieces. Did anyone bother to find out if Mayulu has actually played professionally before because from what I saw of him today he is afraid of getting thee ball and when he does he generally loses it again and frankly he looks like a fart in a thunderstorm and he wanders around looking totally disinterested in everything. He doesn't seem to talk to any of his team mates and he looks like an isolationist even when on the bench and that tells me something is drastically wrong with his attitude, and that has to change. He needs game time at a lower level to be re-evaluated as to his future with us. Right now, based on what I have seen recently, the team is close to falling apart because all of the wrong cracks seem to appear during most matches and nobody seems to know how to fix the leaks. Someone needs to step and give someone a severe kick in the nuts as this continuing apathy is not acceptable at any level yet alone with the money spent this last summer totally wasted. Will any sensible action take place in January or will we stand pat with the dross we have and expect a miracle New Year baby? Why is the only thing we are decent at is being consistently awful and expect the excuses to get us past the constant criticism?
Absolutely shocking, let's hope for some decisive action in the January market or we will have a massive struggle.
We were lethargic and were absolutely devoid of anything in their half. It's OK Manning setting us up with a press, that's not difficult but the real problem is we lack ability in all areas to progress.
We are just an also ran in a league where there are many better teams than us Luckily, there are just a few teams that are worse than we are
I was streaming it in a Wetherspoon having a meal with some of my family in Chelmsford. Gave up at half time. Didn’t want to see any more.
Had family around so only caught bits of it.. same problems different day.. No consistency whatsoever.. I hope Liams not running out of ideas
