Be interested to see the replay of Onuachus header at the end from the corner. Looked like all he had to do was head towards goal and it was in, but he flicked it on for a throw in.
Won’t save us, but got to take the positives. And a clean sheet and point away from home is a definitely a positive.
Agree a good point, clean sheet away and all that but can’t help thinking what might have been if TP was introduced earlier. Fulham looked scared of him on corners.
Awful, awful game of football. But no suicidal play from us, and a decent point away from home. So no complaints on that front.
I think that's the crux of it. We know the squad is limited like Ipswich but if you stay in games you always have a chance. Score from a late corner and you have three points.
As far as I could see the passing around the penalty and in our half was generally safer - not perfect but much better - also if we can just some quality up front in the attacking mode we would not be half bad to be honest. The players can clearly play this way, so it would seem under the greatest manager we ever had, who stormed the Championship with ease, we definitely were playing the crap way under instruction. Which can only presume it was 'Don't go forward, don't attack, just keep the ball'. I mean I know that isn't true, obviously, but it bloomin' well seems that way.
Much better energy levels. Big improvement defensively. Ugo looked far better. And ironically, passing was better. Archer had a bad game though. Offered nothing and didn't seem to want to press.
Poor match but that was like watching actual football again. Decent point. The players didn't look lost or confused like they have at times this season. Wood doesn't look at all out of place. Not much attacking threat so that's something to work on but that was a good result for whoever was actually in charge.
Easily Lesley's best game for us. Hopefully it's because of the change of manager, as opposed to wanting to put himself in the shop window to get a new loan club next month.
BBC reporting of the game totally one-sided. Made it sound like Ramsdale was making save after save. Truth was Fulham had very little threat and I was quite relaxed watching it.
It definitely looks like Martin has an inner circle and alienated the rest. I hope we can now make better use of the whole squad.
