Saints put 9 past Wolves in our promotion season in 65-66. But being Saints we conceded 3 as well. And being Saints, we then bought the Wolves keeper.
If Bournemouth beat United they move into 5th place. Good for football but not for any Saints fans in Bournemouth I would wager.
Massive massive appreciation of how Bournemouth operate here . Well backed yes, but very shrewd in the market. They tend to keep hold of their players, but when you're actually beginning to challenge the top places - as we know - it's harder to do so.
56 days ago. A balmy night in Lisbon, Ruben Amorin deals Man City a 4-1 defeat, a blow that sends Man City spiraling to this day... Amorin helms a 0-3 defeat to Bournemouth, in a rapidly depopulating OT. "Futebol, maldito inferno!"
Bournemouth massively punching above their weight even being in the PL, so to be up into 5th at this point in the season is brilliant for them. Helps when you’re rich af of course, but you’ve got to spend it well and they have done. I said when they sold Solanke for **** loads in the summer that that would turn out to be a great thing for them. Always good to see Man Utd getting a pasting too.
