Terrible game from us. A goal down in under 30 seconds after we'd kicked off set the tone for a mauling by Newcastle.

We don't move the ball quick enough and our goalkeeper is such a liability that it's an uphill battle to get results with him gifting so many chances.

 

Surely by predicting such a high scorelines correctly, I get a bonus 20 points!!

 

Personally I think you need to go and sit in a dark corner and think through your score predictions

I think the writing’s on the wall I’m afraid ladies and gentlemen. A brutal run of fixtures to come, I fear we’ve not done enough to be able to stay with the pack for the Spring run in. I’d rather we didn’t spend significant sums of money in January, we are miles away.

 

Thoroughly disheartening,first half finished is off completely.It was a prime demonstration of an established well-coached PL side packed with internationals v a mish mash of Div 1 and Championship players with our only real striker a youngster who was in Div 2 this time last year.

 

Having just got h9me (I stayed to the bitter end). Our right side is clearly not good enough - neither Clarke or Burns (jury out on Johnson). Keeper has been talked about enough, I don’t think Walton is better. Will KMC admit a mistake and buy another keeper in Jan -would be a brave move. Cajuste best player for us. I would still like to see Hutchinson on the right, Szmodics centre and Broadhead left behind a striker. Next 2 games look impossible. Bottom 4 will be us, Southampton, Leicester and Wolves - can we finish 17th?
