Sheff U won’t be quaking in their boots seeing this team.
Ralls suspended & O’Dowda must be injured.
Plenty of youth on the bench.

    Some interesting selections.
No Ng so Kpakio makes the bench.
    3 CBs.
Colwill and Robinson on the bench.
Kanga ahead of Reindorf on the bench.<doh>
Perrett into the midfield from nowhere. Not one of the 21s we've been discussing.

Ng, Tanner and Reindorf out injured. No Kanga favoritism there. Ralls suspended.

First 11 barely adequate. Bench threadbare.

That means one of two things.

Either we're going to win this one or we'll have a ready made excuse for losing it.

Today is a good day to bury bad news which means giving youngsters game time in a game we possibly wouldn't win with a full squad.
Either way we will learn a few things today

City will go down. As it stands nothing in the club to keep them up.

Did we? I wasn't there but as I see it we learned what we already know.

Simply not good enough to stay in this division.

Have to say, I feel for the team and Riza today.

The effort was definitely there and putting possession to one side, the only real difference between the two sides today was finishing ability.

Yes they were neater and a little more careful with their control/, possession but they barely troubled us until Moore scored the first (which to be fair was an excellent goal).

I thought a few players actually did well today. Yak was definitely up for it, Robertson (set pieces aside) worked hard, Bagan did pretty well too.

I also have to mention the referee again. Whilst none of his decisions 'cost' us, his constant giving of soft fouls against us was infuriating. The booking for Siopis early on was ridiculously soft and just set the tone. The constant favouring of Utd just chipped away at our frail confidence and just wound our players up.

I also want to mention the away fans. Until they scored I thought their supporters were absolute pants... For a team top of the table you'd expect them to be bouncing but we barely heard a peep until they took the lead... Dreadful.

No surprise really to see Sheff U cantering home in second gear. Both their goals came from clumsily losing possession; one though was always going to be enough.

Ashford and Kpakio did more in 5 minutes than El Ghazi did in the time he was on the pitch.

Again City were toothless in attack. Meite missed an open goal in first half but it was from 50 yards :emoticon-0138-think

Daaland is turning out to be unconvincing and again poor keeping from Alnwick for Moore’s second.

Our next game v Oxford has to be won; even a draw will be unsatisfactory. Riza surely has got to be brave and drop a host of players and give the young players a start. What’s he got to lose? The likes of Daaland, Meite, Chambers El Ghazi and Rhinomota should not be starting. Kanga should not be in the squad so if Reindorf is fit he should start.
