I know it’s a new manager and everyone gets a ‘fresh start’ to prove themselves but from what I’ve read about Sellés at other clubs is that he’s not afraid to drop senior players entirely if he doesn’t think they’re pulling their weight. Maybe Giles trains well and Sellés is hoping he comes good but against Watford and Coventry, I didn’t see a change in attitude or output compared to the rest of the time he’s played at City.
Maybe we won't see what Selles is all about until he gets some players of his choosing during Jan. In the meantime he's just making do as best he can?
