The Sir Bobby game ! Newcastle had a great win against Leicester last weekend. They have only won twice away so far this season. I am going with a 2-2.
I think Newcastle's better players will be the difference here. Unfortunately not a game I managed to get a ticket for (but fortunately fared better for the Chelsea and Manchester City home games). We'll put up a fight and possibly take the lead, but I'm going for a 2-1 Newcastle win.
Before the weekend, i thought this was our best chance for 3 points before the end of the year. With Delap now out for the game, think we may struggle to score. I'll wait til the line ups are announced before i make my prediction.
Didn't realise they are playing Brentford in the league cup tonight. Hopefully a hard game with extra time and penalties.
New manager bounce will hopefully see Wolves get some sort of result against Leicester so that our gap to the Foxes doesn't open too much.
Lets hope we can celebrate Sir Bobby Robson in style, with another talented young manager. Will Kieran rise to those great heights and with Ipswich? The crowd will be roaring them on. Its gonna be interesting to see who we start up front. My hunch is Hutch, SS, Broadhead and Chappers, and then Ali Hamadi on at 60. I doubt he is fit enough for a full 60 mins.
Just about to say that, Gaffer. Gone from a one-sided game to more of an end-to-end affair. Much more encouraging. Definitely look like we’re missing out on our top two centre-forwards though. Struggling to carve out anything in the final third.
