Wells listening to all the comments above this seems a good appointment. Sounds a real character. Could be the perfect antidote!
I did think that it does give off very Watford vibes. But imo we just need someone in charge to see out the season, so it’s very low risk from our point of view
Tbh he won’t deserve much criticism at all unless he does anything outrageous like putting ramsdale up front. We are so so **** that it won’t be his fault really. I still can’t believe how abject that spurs performance was
Dug ourselves a hole by leaving it so long tbh. But at least they’ve not dug another one by paying someone off to come here and then likely having to pay them off again come summer when we’re relegated anyway. Just hope we are being pro-active/this manager hunt led us to discuss potential scenarios with managers that we would want for longer term when we are inevitably starting again in the championship next season.
Now the next thing SR have to not **** up is January. Try and get some money for KWP and cancel the two loans, that’s about it. No point signing anyone with no DoF in place and a short term manager. Save the money for next season when hopefully everything is a bit more settled
As always I will be giving him the benefit of doubt, as always I will be called a happy clapper, because I will still support him all the time his name is on the door no matter how bad things get. His task is nigh on impossible, but if we get some better performances, it will be uplifting in the current mood of despondency.
I remember people moaning about whio the F is this Argentinian fella called Pochettino! Didn't turn out too bad. Anyway good night all.
We should have done this sooner. That’s the only problem. IMO this is the sort of guy we should have appointed the moment we were promoted. Russball was always going to fail
Yep, and typically it sounds like he isn’t the guy we want for a promotion push. But whatever let’s wait and see how it all pans out over the next 6 months
Despite initial frustration that there isn’t a longer term plan, I think we absolutely should get behind Juric. In the ‘6 month contract with 2% chance of avoiding relegation’ stakes this is absolutely about as good as we could have hoped for.
I don't know why I'm feeling quite optimistic about this appointment, but I am! I hope he gets the fitness levels up, and he's as disciplined as some people are saying he is. Either way, 6 month contract makes sense. Let's get behind the team and give it some time
I love the idea of DEATH METAL FOOTBALL. A solid, thundering back line, impenetrable midfield, and screaming fireworks up top. Whatever happens, it would be fun!
