Yeah valid points mate. I'm just so ****ing jaded with it all. If he is all we can get then fine we'll just have to see how we get on, but if he is what we're actually going for and are actively pursuing then SR can just **** off

I wouldn’t worry too much, I’m pretty confident he’d turn us down anyway. Probably why that report about us giving him a lot of control over signings etc has come out as we have to offer him more than a standard offer to entice him.

Although the manager handling recruitment might not be a bad thing for a lot people based on recent signings

It's going to be Ankus Rasmusen from the Danish U12 pub league.

From the names linked so far Hjulmand just feels way more likely than anyone else

First name is Willem, but he prefers to just use the initial from this on the start of the rest of his name

Seems Corberan and Rohl are being distanced from the job, Moyes would be a huge coup considering our current point total.

Moyes until the end of the season then Rohl in the summer would be my ideal scenario.

With Moyes moving into the DOF position if/when we get relegated.

Yeah, Or in the unlikely eventually Moyes did keep us up we'd have a much bigger pool of managers to choose from.

Would bite your hand off for Moyes and that would offer a glimmer, a very small glimmer of hope for this season and for that reason we have no chance. I bet SR don't even try for him

Right now, No one has the foggiest. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed.
I did read somewhere the other day that Moyes apparently was moving close to Winchester. - that might be because of easier access routes into London.

Wasn’t there talk we asked him and Potter a few weeks ago and they both said no?

Maybe Moyes stance has changed now he didn’t get the Wolves or Leicester job. Not many other managers look like being close to going, Palace maybe I suppose. He’s not going to get much better than a PL struggler knocking at his door

Still be a big surprise if he ended up here

It does seem that way, doesn't it? Bring David Moyes in, hoping he keeps us up, he then what ever happens, moves up into the DOF position. At 61 years old he has a wealth of football experience. In my eyes, it's a win, win for Saints.

Yeah I did think if he is settled in London then we could be a decent option. That also applies to Palace but I don’t know if they would want him, kind of feels like another Hodgson type appointment for them and he was very disliked by the fanbase in the end from memory

Did he not turn us down many years ago when at Preston? Seem to remember that was the case. But definitely would be happy to have him here!!
