I wouldn’t worry too much, I’m pretty confident he’d turn us down anyway. Probably why that report about us giving him a lot of control over signings etc has come out as we have to offer him more than a standard offer to entice him. Although the manager handling recruitment might not be a bad thing for a lot people based on recent signings

It does seem that way, doesn't it? Bring David Moyes in, hoping he keeps us up, he then what ever happens, moves up into the DOF position. At 61 years old he has a wealth of football experience. In my eyes, it's a win, win for Saints.
Yeah I did think if he is settled in London then we could be a decent option. That also applies to Palace but I don’t know if they would want him, kind of feels like another Hodgson type appointment for them and he was very disliked by the fanbase in the end from memory
