In not expecting many big changes tbh. He's had barely any time with them. Hopefully will be quicker to clear the ball at least.
My team talk after just one day with them would be like this "Guys, play like you normally do, just stop pissing about at the back"
If only that was our only issue! We didn’t even piss around at the back against Spurs and it was noticeable that we were booting it clear pretty regularly. It just kept coming back as we had nothing up front. Tactically we were all over the place though, coupled with a group of players that looked like they had thrown in the towel before KO, and just not playing at anywhere near the required intensity. Possibly KWPs worst game for us and he was one of the biggest culprits for jogging back. So I do wonder if that’s why he’s been dropped.
Expecting KWP to be off next month if he can find someone to buy him even on the cheap so not expecting to see him again Played against Spurs like he didn’t try very hard to avoid injury ahead of a move
I love KWP. One of my favourite Saints players of recent times, and he’s given us a lot of seasons at this point (where he has consistently been MOTM whilst playing among some pretty **** teams). But we are relegated this season, and he goes for free in the summer anyway. I would sell him in January if we can. Few extra million to the transfer budget for the latest rebuild in the summer.
