"Old ****s" should just piss their savings away before the Starmer grim reaper comes to **** them over for saving & working hard .

It will only be stolen & used to fund more foreighn wars , transsexual basket weaving in the middle east, green energy bollocks & the rest given to foreighners & plundered by the dirty corrupt scum in charge.

We will be in a recession within 12 months of Starmer winning in a landslide election of apathy

<doh> More likely that I was the only one that bothered to read it and decide to respond to point out that it was factually inaccurate. You still seem to be resisting any suggestion that you explain what you actually meant.

Keep digging, you soon won’t be able to see out of the hole. <laugh>

As far as I am aware, Russia are not visiting anyone for Xmas. Putin has invited Assad round for eggnog.

The Bank of England surprised absolutely nobody today by keeping interest rates on hold after this week’s bad economic data, which Rachel from Accounts has yet to try and blame on the Tories.

Most of the media missed the CBI survey showing businesses cutting back on investment and looking for job cuts because Rachel from Accounts put their employment costs up by £25bn and put the minimum wage up by triple inflation. Manufacturing output is down 25% in the last three months. The last time the forecast was this bad was in May 2020 during the Covid lockdown. Supply and demand means that lower supply without lower demand will drive prices up.

If you think it is bad now then wait until next April when most of the measures announced by Rachel from Accounts take effect. The estimated impact of the Budget on inflation was an increase of 0.63%, including VAT on school fees in January. Things like vehicle excise duty, the N.I. hike and minimum wage hike will become reality and price rises will already be happening. We are going back to the 1970s.

Those loony Lefties celebrating the ‘landslide’ that brought Sir Keith Stalin into power might now be wondering if he can last the distance.

Rachel from Accounts needs to be put out of our misery but Stalin is surrounded by incompetents so who replaces her? <doh>

He can shove the Red Witch of Stockport into some minor role but he cannot sack her as deputy leader. What about making her Minister for Ibiza DJs – the yoof can queue up for her autograph. <doh>

It really is time that the Ed Stone was brought back and placed over Milipede as lower energy prices are never happening and his latest wheeze will add to everyone’s bills until at least 2031, assuming National Grid can meet that deadline. <doh>

Why did we have 14 years of the Tories (including the coalition)? Why did the stupid working people not elect Gordon Brown, Ed Miliband or Jeremy Corbyn, the leaders of the workers’ party during that time? The Tories managed five Prime Ministers in that stretch. <laugh>

I'm going to employ a percipient interpreter of the public mood. That way my posts will carry sufficient gravitas.

I'm hoping to get this arranged tomorrow, so expect some weighty input by Saturday.

    See ya later.
