Omur problem is the rest of the players stand and watch him work his nuts off and do very little to work with him . They did the same with Palmer at home the other week , both are knackered after 60 because of it .
Omur is neat and tidy but I wouldn’t know what his best position is. Probably needs a run of 5-6 games in the same position to show some form and consistency. He’s definitely a lot more talented than most in our squad, he’s just massively out of form.
Also Tim’s style really didn’t suit him. Last season he popped up all over - this year as we bypassed the middle so much he couldn’t do that. It was either out wide or a long ball - both of which don’t suit him.
Most of them have been late substitutions. I remember well in two games against us in recent seasons him being the difference,...
Yea But when you look Most of his apps have been less than 20 mins They replaced him with doak in the starting line up And doak is going to be a top level player What a signing doak would have been too
He started the first six games, but since then he's mainly come on late to see out games, hence him wanting to leave.
Yet he continues to appear.to be very popular within the squad? I doubt he would stay popular if he simply wasn't bothered and was taking the piss like some allude to. I've lost patience with him too, at least as a solution to our LB problem. Give me Jacobs all day long now, at least he will get stuck in and give his all. Maybe it's just that he's really a left wing back rather than a LB in a 4? Whatever, it just hasn't worked for him here.
