Another day off. Brilliant. Something else to add to the realistic expectations Fred. 3-0 away win tonight then.
Things are probably only going to get worse before they get better. Not in the slightest bit disappointed that I decided against shelling out another £35 for tonight. Wonder how many tickets we've sold.
Redmond and Sulemana both flattered to deceive at times, but Redmond did occasionally live up to expectations, and scored some important goals for us. Sulemana, I fear, will always disappoint.
Quick look at the block map and some *** packet maths and I reckon there's about 3-4k left. Such stupid pricing from the club.
Speaking of stupid pricing and I thought I'd check how Swansea tickets are selling. There's just under 21k on sale currently. And that's with the entire Kingsland closed This might be our lowest weekend attendance in many many years.
My mate just bought the Liverpool tickets for us, when he told me the price I genuinely wanted to tell him to put them up for resale. Luckily I saw a ad for the Swansea tickets in the Spurs game so I could tell him to absolutely not buy those tickets. Love a 3rd round cup tie but £20+ to play a team in the championship when you’re rock bottom is some insane pricing.
If they'd have done them for £22.50 like the City game two years ago we'd have probably sold out tonight. I hate this thing about price increasing as time goes on as well. Just set a price and stick to it FFS. Swansea should have been a tenner and kids for a quid. I love the cups but there's no way I'm paying a score for it after doing 4 aways the end of this year plus the game tonight.
Tbh the club deserve it. If we have a new manager by then the attendance will probably pick up. But if it’s still a caretaker then I hope the stadium is empty.
I'm not going regardless tbh. As mentioned above I've got 4 aways end of this year (from Brighton to Palace) plus the game tonight. That's £150 (well £157.50) in tickets alone without any travel. Then there's two away games in the week following the Swansea game. Don't know how they can justify it.
It's been really bad recently. Seen plenty of away near where I sit in the Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs games, so there's probably a lot more around the stadium.
I can sort of understand the Liverpool pricing even if I don't agree with it. The Swansea pricing however is absolutely ludicrous and the club deserves a pathetically low turnout.
Brutal pricing! Solid commitment though, considering how the season is going. 0% chance for me too. Actually, this season is shaping up to be my least attended season ever. Only been to a couple of games. I feel like a fair weather fan, but I’ve just had another baby plus the rubbish weather and awful train service means it’s not worth it at the moment.
Took ages to kick Spurs out the other night. Was people front of Itchen North who videoed the first 3 goal celebrations.
I don't understand it. It was £22.50 two years ago for a semi final so I don't see how a £7.50 increase is justified for a round earlier.
Yep agree with this. Sulemana isn’t fit to lace Redmond’s boots. That said, I don’t think he is as bad as recent performances, I don’t think he got Martins tactics and they most certainly didn’t play to his strengths. Clean slate and all that for me for everyone. Apart from Jack, he can do one.
