I don't mind being manager if that helps. I manage my kids and wife OK and am good with a hover and at washing up and maintaining the flow of laundry. I play a slow boring game too up and down the stairs a lot. Only been relegated a few times
Dear god, straying on to the various Saints adjacent pages on Facebook. The way some of our fans are, we really do deserve what we get. I forget that this place is a relatively sensible haven sometimes.
To be fair this is the case for pretty much every single fanbase. I would extend it to pretty much every topic beyond football as well, social media convinces me more than anything else that humanity is on the brink of catastrophic failure.
It makes the Club sound like a completely disorganised and ill disciplined mess honestly. How could the first half of Spurs have been such a surprise to those in charge? It almost sounds like they were all happy to continue until some thunderbolt came from the sky above (Dragan?) at half time and all of a sudden it dawned on them that they had to sack RM, after which they all started to scramble like headless chickens. As if 5 points from the prior 15 games was in no way an indication that things were not going swimmingly and it might have been worth having a back up plan. Is there a major disconnect between SR and club staff on the ground? Do they not interact?
I thought the same thing. The fact a 5 nil loss to Spurs was the reason he suddenly got sacked is crazy. Spurs have a great attack and half stuck 4 past Everton, Man City, West Ham & Villa already this season. We were shocking first half but that can happen to promoted clubs against top teams. How they can think the Leicester and bournemouth games were acceptable but sack him after that is insane. He should have been long gone already.
I will put this here too. https://www.givemesport.com/solak-has-concerns-about-key-southampton-figure/
I think more and more people are turning away from the social media disgraces. TwaXter is losing people in their droves since it became a Muskcovian cesspit.
Carlos Corberan: Southampton considering approach for West Brom head coach to replace Russell Martin https://www.skysports.com/football/...est-brom-head-coach-to-replace-russell-martin
My preferred choice. Done wonders at WBA and Huddersfield and more experienced than Rohl Can’t see him being too keen though
No idea about that, think he’d be harder to get than Rohl as I think there would be more interest in him, but think he’s a very good manager
Without significant investment, teams like West Brom, Boro, Sunderland will only ever reach the playoffs at best. Corberan might feel like Brom are stagnating, and that we'll be able to offer him a real chance at getting promoted.
