R/F day , just because its like a morgue in here . They are in no particular order First at Newcastle sol cayo and orbital Base on 1pt each way so 2pts just as a profit or loss basis but warning i am not telling you to back them and wont say what i go (big or small) .
-2pts the next one i was going to miss but i will go with my gut feeling Show me show me Lady of gar (drifting like a barge)
-4pts the drifter made the places at good odds it did look an interesting booking . Volenti Jujubella
After doing my best to put-up a decent post early-on, I did not appreciate the "because it's like a morgue in here". That's bloody rude. Most people are at work, so it's up to the mostly old and retired jokers to try and keep things going until the other guys return from work. F**k it anyway. Sorry, but that remark pisses me off.
Really you cant have no fun when he is upset this is not the first time he has shown a hate campaign i would copy and paste his previous apologies over pm but i wont bother upsetting the childish man
Oh well, have worked and lived in many places on this planet, and have nearly 'bought it' more than once. On reflection, guess I did re-act too sharply. Yes, I do apologise when I am wrong, which is often. No harm in that, surely? To be called 'childish', does hurt like hell though, have to admit, when I can't do a damn thing about it. Things get very odd over the IT sometimes. Never mind, water under the bridge. Bye for now.
Volenti picks up his second class 6 handicap in a week at Newcastle. Owned by 4 friends from the NE, he was picked up for a pittance and they asked Ben Haslam to give him a try. Apparently Mr Haslam wasn't expecting much when arrived in the horsebox midsummer., He's managed to conjure 3 wins and several placings from him since August. So he's even starting to pay his training fees. Three things about him: He's an improver: upped his rating from 46 to 56 in 4 months (liable to got to 60 after this win). He's very game: watch his last two wins. He's from a good female family ( originally in Lord Derby's stud) that includes Celtic Swing, Le Havre and Sassafras. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
Volenti gets another entry on Saturday for two Newcastle handicaps. Looks like he'll run in the first of the two, with Mullen already named as the jockey. Haslam has done a good job here, doesn't he get a few of McManus's shagged out jumpers to freshen them up?
Anyway, let me wish all members a very merry Christmas and a profitable New Year. Also, don’t forget to put a sixpence in your children’s Christmas stocking. If you haven’t a sixpence, then a twenty pound note will do!
