Struijk is fine at this level.

He was awful in the PL.

Emu’s right… of course now maybe he’s improved and got his confidence back he’d be prem standard. … or maybe he just now plays in a dominant team against lower class opposition and would be an accident in the making at pl level again.

TBH I like him but I wouldn’t cry if he left for silly money… Ampadu and wober can cover the position equally well in my view. Of course if we didn’t then use the money to strengthen elsewhere….

Wobers hardly kicked a ball all season and I suspect has little interest in staying around if there’s an offer. Keep Struyk till summer. If we have to offload players in January get rid of Bamford Gelhardt etc

Sell sell sell he's only an injury away from being worthless like Bamford.

Evening all. I missed the game and have avoided the highlights until now.
From a 10 minute snippet, Mes should have done better, so should Struijk and Rodon. Struijk needs to take Osmajic out, take the yellow, and Rodon's judgement was awful. Bogle was beaten for pace.
I'm not going to blame Rothwell for losing the ball in the opponent's box. That shouldn't have been a problem.
Preston looked like they had a few chances before the goal but closed shop after.
I hope Joseph has learned because he got in front of his defender for the goal.
I hear a lot about the low block. It's defending. Yes they defend in numbers but, as has been said, our build up is so slow much of the time we give them the time to set.
Gnonto has a habit of checking back, James causes problems because he can go either way.
Bristol City put 3 past those **** houses, we need to do whatever they did.
If stopping the best team in the league scoring was as easy as many **** teams are showing then we'd be struggling at home too.

I still say that it's composure in the final 3rd. We fluff our lines too much.
