Ok, so call it what you like according the the rules but the ref called it red and var didn't find any reason to not call it wrong. If Gallagher can call it bad then the pgmol.must be hiding and it's open seas9n on refs.
Under the old 'last man' rules, it's 100% a red card. Under the current ruling about denying a clear goal scoring opportunity; he didn't. The Fulham player was never getting on the end of his touch AND they still had an opportunity to score.
Which is what Gallagher said, so i am more interested in whether this now means the pgmol are in hiding over coote and clubs should ramp up the pressure on refs as a result. It's a clear foul and Wilson is there the ref didn't wave any advantage so he's actually made 2 errors
VAR in the UK is fundamentally **** because they refuse to overrule their ref mates even when they are blatantly wrong.
He was offside thought so wasn’t denying goal scoring chance. So could only be sent off for the actual severity of the tackle.
Interesting view of looking at Pep and Man City... If any other top six manager was on a run of results that Pep's had, would they be sacked? Arteta would and possibly Slot would too (benefit of doubt because he new )
I agree but I would say his record will buy him some time. I am more interested in the media coverage he has received. Very tame comparatively
I don't know what's going on at City, but Pep is a great manager... yeah, City have been cheating, City have unlimited money, etc... but quite frankly, we've seen teams have a lot of money and do badly. Even Mourinho could never keep a team playing well for more than two years at a time even as he bounced from sugar-daddy club to sugar-daddy club. Pep has been competitive every year until now. You don't just turn crap overnight. I don't see much benefit to sacking Pep. (there again, he might be losing on purpose because he wants to get sacked before FFP rulings- if City sack him, he gets a massive payout, if he quits he doesn't... If City is found guilty, contracts might be nullified because they're illegal, and he won't get his payout or forced to take a paycut)
Yeah I agree Pep is a good manager but not one of the greats for me Successful and Great are different to me interesting take on the situation Something is defo odd Our press would have left an empty carcass by now with his set of results But nothing I have been wondering if there is genuine concern for his mental health tbph
