I wasn’t I was taking the piss as was the made up under 19 year old player from Chelsea. Hard work on here at times.
So this 19 year old from Chelsea you say we are signing. I know he's only scored twice but what are his Stats like? Good xG ? What about his xA? What are his warm-ups like?
He's obviously untested at senior level, but he was top scorer in the Sao Paolo league for Santos at the ago of 17, leading to Chelsea signing him for £17.2m on a seven year deal. So far this season, in the Premier League 2 he has two goals and an assist in three games (last season six goals and two assists in eleven games), in the Premier League International Cup he has a goal and an assist in two games and in the Football League Trophy he has no goals/assists in two games. He'd obviously be a punt, but he's Brazilian and signing a Washington would obviously make up for losing an Ohio so it makes sense. Probably.
If Swansea play as well, at ours, as they did last season. It could turn nasty very quickly...In that case we've got to compete and scrap from Min 1....If not there could be a fire drill 20 mins before h/t...In that case it might be easy to get out of Walton Street at f/t..... Every cloud eh...
We need both really. An upturn in fortune and form aswell as a very good, early window. It wouldn't surprise me if 2 or 3 additions aren't already effectively sorted already (bar the necessary formalities). I'd be amazed if we were left scurrying around.
Let's start with basics, a point is good. At this point I am OK with that, 1 here, 3 in Preston is acceptable for me.
The power of prayer shouldn't be underestimated... I suggest a combined link hands/ prayer session in the pub at about noon.
Don’t do predictions but our home form simply has to improve if we are to stand any chance of pulling away from the bottom three. Problem is after so many placid gash displays at home City now have to regroup and rebuild under the new manager and fight for points anywhere they can as the relegation dogfight begins. U’uull. UTT.
12.30 ko, the Saturday before Christmas and televised live, without those three factors this game would already be the lowest crowd of the season which the Saturday before Christmas usually is. Ridiculous planning.
So Palmer went from our best player against Watford to one of the worst against Coventry What's going on there ?
Nope. In football it can never be that. There always must be a simplistic conclusion that can be drawn from it.
Yepp, makes you wonder what happened to the much talked about winter break.. At least I'll be home before it gets dark. TBH I don't do driving in the dark, too good.
