Wonder if we’ll go back in for Zeidane Inoussa. I honestly don’t know if we can afford to shell out for a winger, defensive midfielder and striker in January in terms of all permanent signings with transfer fees. Would imagine we’ll loan a few players and send others back.

Gaz suggested sticking Slater at left wing and dropping Longman.

You'd think we'd see at least one GK leave and given our winger problems are predominantly caused by injury, a couple of loans for the rest of the season would be the most likely outcome, I'd suspect.

Would like to see a proper CDM come in on a permanent transfer though, someone who's not afraid to put their foot in.

Surely Racciopi out on loan if Rushworth gets fit, then Burns returning to Man City, and Zambrano, Millar and Belloumi de-registering gives us 5 spots. Fletch is suggesting he's heard we'll make 6 signings.

Hopefully early in the window so we aren’t playing last day roulette

I can't for one minute see Acun allowing that to happen this time. He was clearly livid about what happened during summer (albeit he was ultimately responsible, having thought he could trust those he'd delegated to).

About ten years ago we signed Aaron McLean and Matty Fryatt on the 1st or 2nd of January. We simply have to replicate that agility in the forthcoming window.

We got the wrong one, should’ve gone for Mackail-Smith instead.

Another one, Salah-Eddine Oulad M'hand, Arsenal, probably old enough now to try again?
