Wasn't Strachan a hard task master for fitness? Seems clubs like us need to be strong, in the faces of opponents, and work harder than them also. Even at times last season we were blowing out our arses. Oh and I can't wait to not see KWP running through syrup when attempting to run back towards our goal. Is like he can't be ****ed.
I'm pleased he's gone but I'm certainly not in a celebratory mood just because I dread to think what the geniuses in charge have up their sleeve next. Thanks for Wembley Russ, it's a shame it finished the way it did.
I do slightly suspect we might be stymied with PSR in terms of getting an employed manager in. So I wonder if we might go for another try at Moyes/Rafa, on a short term with a huge bonus if we’re kept up, then go and take Rohl when we’re inevitably relegated. I’d rather not, as it’s so short termist, but it’s an option I guess.
Tickets for Forest purchased. The king is dead, long live the king, or whatever the saying is right now
I've just had a horrible thought. This Rusk bloke who coaches the u-21s, is there a chance he's going to want to play the same way? That'd really take the biscuit
Sorry Lucy, but if you're crap at your job, you'll get sacked, snakes or no snakes. Imagine if you'd arrived at your Nuts photoshoot, but you wouldn't take your bra off. You wouldn't get much 'work' after that, would you?
He had to go and he can't complain as it was all because of his style of play but I liked the bloke personally despite some of the things he said under pressure recently. I'll remember him as only the fourth Saints manager that got us promoted to the PL and the many good memories of last season... Thanks and good luck with your career and charity work Russell.
Martin absolutely had to go, if we wanted to have a chance of staying up he had to go months ago. For me now it’s just imperative we get more than 11 points because having the 9-0s hang over us and constantly brought up is more than enough embarrassment. But I just ****ing hope the people who run the club realise that they are just as culpable for the position we are in. I was sat at the game last night, looking at a team of players on the pitch, and they were mostly the same players that finished 4th in the championship last season. Our recruitment has been a shambles and heads need to roll there too. Imagine if Dibling had stayed at Chelsea or didn’t instantly become a top quality PL level player, so they got lucky there too. Really don’t even feel that relieved about RM going because we still have a **** team, and who really believes ****erson et al will bring in the right manager this time?
