First time for a long while that i have not stayed to the end. We left at 80 minutes , my wife being sage enough to realise that the continuous passing was not getting us anywhere. Totally pointless performance which cannot be defended. I have to be honest and do not think the players are necessarily the problem but the coaching is. Quite interesting to read the mood on Radio Solent afterwards and especially the interview with Martin. I never thought it would happen but i think Martin is going to be sacked.
As I said some 3hours ago, didn’t go, therefore didn’t spend any money, didn’t get cold, didn’t enjoy hoping for something different than this. I will always hope and support the team Saints but this level of performance, set up, outcome, I cannot do that. I need to hear by lunchtime tomorrow that the Board have taken the action long overdue. What is taking place is a total betrayal of so many fans over the years, it besmirches the proud reputation we have held. It must not be allowed to continue.
Back from the game. And something happened today at the game that I never expected to happen…I gave a standing ovation to Ryan Manning when he got subbed off. One of life’s great mysteries that he looks so much better in the PL than he did in the Championship. Only other thing that I can be arsed to say after that is the fans were great second half. Oh and if Martin is still in charge, I’m probably not going to ruin my Boxing Day going to the next one. It’ll be the first time I’ve missed a game that I’ve paid for out of choice.
There was loads of Martin chants tonight throughout the match. It was utterly ****ing toxic FFS. Why is there all these posts about people slagging off the people there from ****s who watched from home.
Gives me inspiration does this. I did 6 months without drink from Jan to End June this year, then started again. Worse decision I made. Haven't enjoyed drinking again at all. Haven't had a drink for a week, to be fair I think I've come down with COVID or flu since last week, but I don't think I will start again. I also did intermittent fasting and lost 9kg in about 4 months. 6kg came and found me though

I was surprised when he came off to be honest. Feels like a lot recently where he's been one of our better players. Deserves a lot of credit imo. Earned his place in the team although the Taylor situation is obviously weird.
Well I was in the Northam and didn't hear anybody singing give us a wave. **** loads of Martin out chants though that the sofa experts pretended didn't happen and decided to slag people off about.
I sit Kingsland and I did hear it tbf, but was clearly sung with the intention of booing him if he didn’t wave, or booing him if he did. He did,..well he put his arm in the air and gave a thumbs up, which was greeted by boos to which Martin put his arm in the air and gave a thumbs up again.
Bizarre as I was there til the end and didn't hear that at all. Just lots of we want Martin out and sacked in the morning etc
Yeah I heard all that too, along with the gallows stuff and the Gabbi and Lambert songs etc. guess it’s just the **** acoustics in the stadium and maybe the fans around you in the Northam were singing something different at the time. It is noticeable from where I sit that there are often pockets of different songs being sung at the same time across the Northam.
