Mowatt, Swift and Johnson great subs to bring on for WBA.

Chucked a few quid on both championship games to be draws today. Fancied two tight games didn’t expect WBA to concede twice the way they set up playing away.

Draws in every game would probably help us ...

... the good thing is that no team is battering people, Sheff Utd keep scraping lucky wins.

    They'll have a bad patch.

Can’t wait to see their boss’ old dinosaur face when they do.

How about when we beat them on NYD to go top. Can’t wait to see the Kernt’s face that day.

My worry is that they’ll recruit in January as will Leeds. And the longer the season goes on our players will start getting tired without question if we don’t start using the squad more. A few shrewd additions to the squad to help us see out games should be our priority imo, we don’t need any superstar signings we’ve got a very good Xl and a few lads returning from injury. Nothing good comes from flogging lads for 90 minutes twice a week

No Rashford or Garnacho for Man U

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, speaking to Sky Sports about the omission of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho: “We try to evaluate everything training performance, game performances, engagement with teammates, push their teammates up. Everything is on the line when we analyse and try to choose the players. It is my selection. Simple.

“I don’t want to send a message it is simply an evaluation and they know it. The players are really, really smart. Everybody understands my decision and I have to choose. It is simple selection.

“Of course the context is difficult because we have to win games and we have a difficult situation now. I pay attention to everything, the way you eat, the way you put your clothes to go to a game. Everything. I make my evaluation and then I decide.

“There is a communication after the last training. They are alright. They had training this morning and I was there. They trained really well.”

I'm absolutely sure we will but these players have only played around 18/19 games ...

... if they're exhausted already we have a problem.

As things stand we have half a dozen fresh and ready to come in when the time comes.

Plus more recovering from injury ...

... I'd much rather stay as we are tbh.

19 games with really high intensity press though and it’s first/second season of blokes football for some. Loads of hard work off the ball will start to catch up with them. I think if Huggins was reliable plus Browne and Samed were fit we’d have those 3 plus Ballard on the bench plus someone like Alese who’s half decent and it’d be a different story. We can’t go the season having u21s on the bench and flogging the same lads every match for 90 mins though I’m sure that RLB will’ve highlighted this and the refusal at times to make subs could be an indication of that.

What an absolute clown Lee Hendrie is ...

... every chance is 'he just HAS to score there!'

Every game would end 15 -15 if he was right.

In around 350 games he scored around 30 goals as an attacking midfield player ... nowt special.

I’m watching the Norwich / Burnley game… decent game.
Have noticed how Norwich love playing out from the back… been nearly caught a few times… hopefully our high press is employed next week… very beatable these.
