Would be good to see an end to the inconsistent performances. Thomas Frank is a lot more experienced than RvN.
We need to beat Ipswich aswell then we can go into Villa boxing day bouncing (or Obi can anyway). I just feel like we won't beat Ipswitch though.
I think we will. Ipswich are a poor side. I know we struggle against the weaker sides but that Leicester performance gives me hope.
At home we should be winning most of our games (and we do) so I'm going to say this should be a bang on win for us. I am still concerned about away form, we are a totally different side away and even Howe seems to flounder outside of St James'. Still want him replaced if a better manager comes a long but I hope we see some much needed consistency now and a push towards the top 6 (where we should always be aiming to finish no matter what these days)
I wonder who we could attract whose clearly a better manager than Howe. Our owners can't offer decent spending, which would affect the job's attractiveness.
Our away form is consistent with all the teams from 5th down, and not an issue at all. Brentford's away form however clearly IS an issue, 1 draw and 7 losses from 8 games. And Brentford are playing away.
Only guy I'd plump for is Eden Terzic, who beat Howe twice last season on his way to the CL final and is used to working with/coaching younger players alongisde one or two stars, which is the model we're adopting. 66% win percentage, has worked alongside Klopp and Favre, won a cup, managed to get back to the CL even with a run to the final. Helped blood both Moukoko and Gittens too.
We got Brentford and Ipswich consecutively - one hasn't won away, one hasn't won at home yet this season - odds on NUFC breaking one or both of those runs?
